ITUNES REMOTE NOT CONNECTING TO LIBRARY TV
If your Apple TV is not communicating, turn off HOMESHARING in the FILES\HOMESHARING\ section and then turn it on again. Make sure you have the same Apple Id showing up here and in the ACCOUNT\AUTHORIZATIONS\ menus.

iTunes has this redundancy where “home sharing” is configured both in the EDIT\PREFERENCES section and in the FILES\HOMESHARING\ menu. I may have stumbled onto a couple of things today.ġ. I’ve had this issue between my iTunes (on PC) and my Apple TV 3 for sometime now. Please leave a comment and let others know about your experience with this issue. I hope one of these tips fixed your problem with iTunes Home Sharing in Windows. Restart iTunes and try to use the Home Sharing feature again. If Internet “ Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” is checked, uncheck it, then select “ OK“.It’s usually named “ Wireless Network Connection 1“, “ Wi-Fi 1” or something similar.

Choose your active network listed for “ Connections“.If the Bonjour service isn’t your problem, you may have a problem with iTunes trying to route sharing traffic using IP6 instead of IP4. Open iTunes on both computers and see if Home Sharing works.Double-click the “ Bonjour” service, set the “ Startup type” to “ Automatic“.Select the “ Start” button, type “ services.msc“, then press “ Enter“.To enable the Bonjour service, follow these steps: Otherwise it will tell you that the Bonjour service is not running. This tab should display sharing options if the Bonjour service is running. You can check this by going to “ Edit” > “ Preferences” within iTunes and selecting the “ Sharing” tab. Once completed, simply exit out of the settings menu.First, make sure that the Bonjour service is running on your computer. You will then be able to enter the correct path of your iTunes folder. In VirtualDJ open Settings Options and type itunes into the search bar to display the option for the iTunesDatabaseFile. In the case where the default folder path has been changed (being used on an external hard drive), then you will need to tell VirtualDJ where that location is. Make sure that VirtualDJ knows the location of your iTunes folder In most cases, the iTunes folder will remain in it's default location and VirtualDJ will automatically see it.

ITUNES REMOTE NOT CONNECTING TO LIBRARY SOFTWARE
It will generate the XML file required by VirtualDJ and you will then be able to launch the software to have complete access to your iTunes Library. To correct this go to Preferences Advanced and ensure that Share iTunes Library XML with other applications is checked. In iTunes 12, this xml file is not shared by default and may cause your iTunes library to not be read by VDJ. Make sure that iTunes is set to share it's library VirtualDJ uses the iTunes Library.xml file to read your iTunes database. This will display any folders that you have hidden. Make sure iTunes is a visible folder in VirtualDJ Option 1: In the case where you may have accidentally hidden the iTunes root folder, right-click the Local Music folder and select Show: iTunes Option 2: Go to the lower right hand corner and click the dot (Browser Options) above the Font Resizer. Please follow the below steps to ensure that iTunes is setup correctly in the application itself as well as VirtualDJ. If your iTunes Library is not displayed in the Folder List of the Browser there can be a few different possibilities for this.
